Hair Care Guide for Hair Extensions - Human hair - straight hair
Straight Hair Extensions
Washing & Conditioning
1. Detangle with a wide-tooth comb or a soft bristle brush (loop brush).
2. For semi-permanent types (Weft, Tape, Tip, Closure sewn/glued): Wash 2–3 times a week or when feeling oily/greasy.
For temporary types (Halo, Clip-ins, Wig): Wash after every 10–15 wears.
3. Apply shampoo gently from top to bottom without scrubbing the roots.
4. Apply conditioner from mid-length to ends. Leave for 3–5 minutes, rinse thoroughly.
Drying
Pat gently with a towel (never rub).
Air dry on a wig stand or let it hang naturally.
Use a blow dryer only on *low heat*, keeping it away from bonds/tapes.
Styling
Use a heat protectant before straightening or curling.
Keep hot tools below 180°C (350°F).
Avoid styling close to bonds/tapes to prevent loosening.
Sleeping
For permanent installs: Braid hair loosely or wrap in a silk scarf.
For temporary types: Remove and store properly before bed.
